These are original Lexicon Cards from 1930s and I’ve used them to create Scandinavian phrases such as the now, very familiar HYGGE.


HYGGE : (Danish) Cosiness, contentment, well being

LAGOM : (Swedish) Just the right amount/in balance

LYKKE : (Danish) Joy and Happiness

FIKA : (Swedish) To take a break/coffee break with friends

SISU : (Finnish) Determination, inner strength and courage


These framed pieces are excellent to place on your gallery staircase or your home office wall


Each handmade frame measures 17”x 7” x 0.5” (43cm x 18cm x1.5cm)
